We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join us in our London Head Office to be part of our exciting journey as we continue to grow across the UK & ROI!As Marketing Coordinator, you will be responsible for supporting the execution of Smiggles marketing strategy across our retail function in the UK & Ireland. You will be involved in a wide range of marketing initiatives, and will ultimately become an important cog in the marketing wheel! To be successful in this role you will have at least 1 year experience within a retail marketing environment. You will be a strong communicator with a flexible can-do attitude. You must be an organised, hardworking and a friendly individual. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be computer literate in all Microsoft Office programmes.Reporting into our Assistant Marketing Manager, the primary responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
  • Support with new store opening marketing activities across the UK & ROI to drive footfall and conversion
  • Supporting the retail team through seeking marketing opportunities at a local level to drive brand awareness and customer engagement
  • Responsible for managing the relationships with key partners and shopping centres within the UK and Ireland to ensure the best visibility for the brand
  • Work closely with Assistant Marketing Manager to plan and execute the social media strategy in line with the Marketing calendar
  • Coordination of promotional stock for PR samples and competition prizes
  • Briefing POS and print materials to support projects, ensuring it is on brand and high quality
  • Bringing the seasonal campaign messages to life for customers in store!
  • Competitor and retail analysis; tracking market activity and compiling report
  • Essential Skills/Experience

  • Experience within a retail marketing environment (min. 1 year)
  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal)
  • Knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter,& YouTube)
  • Good organisation and ability to manage competing priorities
  • Strong IT skills including knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
  • Finger on the pulse of marketing, news, current affairs and social trends
  • An innovator, with a passion for learning
  • Deadline-driven & results focused
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective, positive working relationships internally and externally
  • Self-motivated with a can-do attitude and positive outlook
  • Experienced in being reactive and responsive to retail trade and market conditions
  • Demonstrates a passion for retail
  • Desirable Skills/Experience
  • Educated to degree level in Marketing or similar qualification
  • Experience working in social media for retail brand
  • Understanding of the retail landscape across the UK & Ireland
