Responsibilities Designing and implementing software for embedded devices and systems Design, develop, code, test and debug system software Analyse and enhance efficiency, scalability and stability of system resources Integrate and validate new product designs Support software QA and optimize I/O performance Interface with hardware development and design Assess third party and open source software Potential leadership of a small team Requirements Programming experience in C or variants Experience in embedded systems design with pre-emptive, multitasking real-time operating systems Knowledge of OS coding techniques, IP protocols, interfaces and hardware subsystems Familiarity with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review Strong documentation and writing skills Any level of experience considered Attributes Personable Comfortable liaising with customers Flexible attitude to work Excellent problem solving In return for this, the right candidate will receive Competitive salary and generous bonus scheme Personal training budget Relaxed working environment Relaxed working hours Clear development path Advanced Resource Managers Engineering Limited operates & advertises as an Employment Agency for permanent positions and as an Employment Business for contract/temporary positions.
