National Training Centre Administrator
Location: Paisley
35 Hours per week

Contract type: Permanent
Salary: GBP 14,862 per annum

About the role
The post holder will support the course scheduling and booking team in delivering an effective service. The postholder will be required to support the administration of training scheduling, booking and delivery, recording all information on relevant systems and databases and escalate any queries appropriately. This post will work closely with other administrative teams to ensure a quality service is delivered.

About the team
As part of the new model for the People and Learning we are setting up a national team who will be responsible for the booking and scheduling of training for of our UK people.
As part of a new national course booking service, to manage course bookings for British Red Cross volunteer and staff courses. The central booking service will offer greater visibility and co-ordination of our training offer through the effective use of our people and learning resources and minimising operational costs.

About the person

  • Demonstrable experience of a customer facing role (internal and/or external customers
  • Experience of working in a fast paced service centre environment
  • Customer service skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in IT databases
  • Educated to GCSE or equivalent, including Maths or English
  • Ability to manage high volume call and email activity
