Working for an award winning, Bristol based SME, you'll form part of the senior leadership team during a period of rapid growth and ongoing transformation.

You'll be responsible for leading a forward looking accounts function that can support the increasing complexities of a business experience rapid growth and an expanding global client base.

Due to future opportunity this role will suit an ambitious Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) looking to take a step up and wanting to progress.

With the support of a small team you'll be responsible for all BAU activities in finance, as well as designing and adapting systems that support long term growth. Working with the Board you'll all act as sounding board for key financial decisions and provide essential metrics to support the decision making process.

Responsibilities will include:

- Preparing monthly,quarterly and annual accounts, providing regular commentary that supports operational, tactical and strategic decision-making

- Managing transactional finance, payroll, providing clear leadership around cost control, budgetary accountability and cash-flow management

- Improving current financial systems ensuring the outputs are robust, compliant, accurate, easily accessible & informative

- Supporting sales and the wider business in the preparation of budgets, financial forecasting, variance analysis and providing insight to support action planning

- Supporting the SLT with improving operational performance and ensuring targets can be met.

The successful applicant will be a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with experience in a similar role or working to a similar level.

It's essential you can work collaboratively ensuring financial frameworks are embedded across the entire business to drive positive results.

As well as the above you'll have excellent analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to support the wider business by making sense of technical information, providing insightful commentary to underpin key decision-making
