Totaljobs Group, the UK's largest and fastest growing online recruitment advertising business is looking to recruit a Credit Controller to join our in-house Finance team Reporting to the Senior Credit Controller, you will work on the Totaljobs Group trade debt ledger to maximise the collection of outstanding debt against monthly set targets. You will also assist in embedding processes and enforcing payment terms in a high paced, targeted and volume driven environment to achieve results whilst minimising rolling debt and reducing our aging profile. We are located in a fantastic new office based on the Southbank. Renovated to our requirements, our office offers fantastic views across London as well as fantastic facilities for all of our staff, from American fridges to Table Tennis tables. The building also comes with a subsidised canteen, wine tasting facilities, a gym and a 10th floor atrium. The office is within walking distance of Southwark, London Bridge, Blackfriars and Waterloo. This is an excellent opportunity for a Credit Controller to join a dynamic and results focused team. Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities Chase outstanding debt via Phone & Email. General Credit Control Admin - send copy invoices, adding PO's, prepare refund paperwork, manage Accounts Receivable Inbox. Allocate cash. Handle liquidations and associated admin. Negotiate payment plans for delinquent accounts. Review unallocated/unidentified cash. Vendor form completion. Follow up on Broken Payment Promises. Taking payments via Credit Card. Manage queries end to end and liaising closely with the Billing Team. Communicate with the sales teams to resolve queries and limit write offs. Utilising the system to place accounts on/off stop. Encourage sign up of Direct Debit to client base. Perform Credit Checks and monitor clients with heightened risk. Send delinquent accounts Legal and reply to requests for additional information/action points. Key Skills and Experience Required A proven track record in a collections environment. Excellent Organisational skills, logical approach with good attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines. Professional phone etiquette. Ability to work in a high call volume & targeted environment. A self-starter with the ability to prioritise own workload. Highly motivated, proactive and flexible approach to collections. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the skill to 'win over' both Client and Sales. Good Word and Excel skills essential. Knowledge of Oracle and Salesforce is an advantage.
