Accounts/Office Administrator Rapid Resource Ltd - Rainham, ME8 £16-£17k per annum - Full-time Rapid Resource are a Contractor Recruitment Agency. We are looking for an Accounts/Office Administrator to join a small team based in Rainham, Kent ME8 7RU The individual will need to easily fit into our team and contribute to the effective operation of the company: assist in supporting our Accounts Manager and Company Director as well as carrying out general administrative activities. The ideal candidate will be a hard-working, professional and able to work on their own initiative. Carrying out a variety of office support tasks and work diligently under pressure. You must be comfortable working with a high degree of attention to detail and discretion as well as incorporating new and effective ways to achieve better results. Previous experience in a similar role (3+ years) is essential. Days: Monday - Friday, 9-5PM The total weekly hours will be: 35 hours Holiday Entitlement: 20 days plus statutory bank holidays. Responsibilities: - Handle requests and queries from the Operation/Accounts Manager, Company Director and other members of the team - Managing telephone calls act as a point of contact for clients, and Contractors in a professional manner. - Schedule appointments and manage UK based travel including accommodation, ferries, itineraries and expenses on a frequent basis - Create and update scheduled records, invoices and approval reports while ensuring accuracy and validity of information - Sort and distribute communications in a timely manner - Cross checking expenditure reports - Filing and dealing with personal and internal paperwork - Log lateness, sickness & holidays - Ensure Contractors have the correct information to carry out their role - General upkeep of the office Required Skills: - Accounts or Bookkeeping experience through systems such as SAGE is required - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Proficient in IT: experience using Word & Excel - An aptitude in problem solving and ability to use initiative to find solutions - Excellent organisational and time management skills - Good telephone manner - Able to work as part of the Team
