General Description / Purpose of Role:

This role involves supporting the IT Manager in the implementation of the ERP System.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Participation in the ERP project to support the design, test and implementation of the ERP system;
  • Communicate with all departments to collect required data for ERP implementation;
  • Assisting the IT Manager with process mapping;
  • Attending implementation meetings, taking notes and following up on actions arising from the meetings;
  • Acting as the first point of escalation for application issues by supporting staff upon implementation and delivering one-on-one training where required;
  • Pro-actively deliver support around the business to ensure system is used in accordance with our internal procedures;
  • Supporting the IT Manager with queries and/or problems related to the ERP system.
  • Provide internal IT support including problem solving/trouble shooting
Minimum Previous Experience:
  • Experience of working in a support role
  • Experience of working with business processes
  • Exposure to ERP systems and how they affect the operational environment
Minimum Educational Qualifications:
  • Educated to GCSE grade C (or equivalent) in English and Maths;

Minimum Required Skills:
  • Have an aptitude for IT applications and their support
  • Computer skills (Excel, Word) sufficient for report writing, data collection and reporting;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work well with colleagues and external suppliers;
  • Good verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritise own workload;
  • Positive approach to meeting the needs of the department with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Takes ownership of tasks with the ability to effectively prioritise workload
