Our client is one of the UK's leading and premier FMCG Food Businesses currently suppling over 500 Wholesale customers, Key Multi-National Retailers and Food Manufacturers. Due to continued growth and expansion they are currently looking to recruit a Process Engineer with extensive Engineering experience gained within the FMCG / Food Industry. You will be involved in managing and driving projects to develop and improve the manufacturing processes throughout the facility, including Plant Efficiency, Site Efficiency and Site Wide Engineering Process Improvements. This will include full analysis and reporting, and then implementing any developments into the plant. You will play a leading role in collaborating with colleagues from other areas of the business. Successful Candidates should have an extensive background in Maintenance Engineering with at least 3 to 4 years' experience leaning towards Process Improvement and Plant Efficiency. Key Responsibilities: - Previous experience gained within an FMCG Food Manufacturing environment - Support the facility and management teams in the development of standard operating procedures and safe systems of work for all processes - Ensure effective preventative maintenance schedules are adhered to - Support the development of a continuous improvement process to maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of all areas - Work within the team to promote positive change Preferred Skills and Experience: - The ability to work alongside the Engineering Team and support the day-to-day operations within the factory - Support continuous improvement and best practice in mechanical and electrical services - Work in accordance with the company's safety plan based on HACCP principles - Adhere to all operational programmes, necessary to create an environment suitable to produce safe and legal food products - Ability to work effectively within a maintenance system which promotes pro-active maintenance - Use of own initiative to solve technical problems
