Your New Company:
Hays Education are seeking teaching assistants interested in working in a secondary school setting to expand our expertise across London. We welcome all teaching assistants with various backgrounds who can use their experiences to add value to the schools in which they work in. You will be working with secondary schools on a day to day and/or long-term basis all within the South West London area.
Your New Role:
Our schools are looking for proactive teaching assistants who can support students across different year groups with learning difficulties, and help maximise their full potential. Your day-to-day roles will include assisting teachers in setting up the classroom, preparing materials and running small group work amongst students. Furthermore, the teaching assistants we are looking for need to be able to promote inclusion, boost confidence and encourage learning in and out of the classroom.
How can you Succeed:
In order to succeed you will need a minimum of 60 days of experience working in a school environment with practice of supporting students with Special Needs. You will need to be enthusiastic and inclusive throughout that day and motivate students to participate during lessons. Furthermore, you will need to demonstrate strong classroom management skills, support your peers, whilst exhibiting a flexible and adaptable approach to work.
