Our Client are a leading electronics manufacturer based in the North East of England. The company currently require a talented Network Support Engineer to join the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • IT Support of an estate of circa 60 PC's running on Windows Server 2012, to include basic control of server room, day to day activities such as setting up and fixing new accounts/passwords and main interface for the IT support company & running the PC upgrade scheme.
  • Provide Technical Support throughout the company and to customers for implementation and set up of Company product - particularly the IP products. This would mean verifying PC set ups, lamp configurations, understanding the lamp operation and capabilities.
  • Support of VMS (Video Management Systems) and Company plug-ins and interfaces Support will include testing and generation of reports to show what worked well and what failures were seen. This would also include training to internal staff and to external customers.
  • Generation / upkeep of a logging system to record all activities with a view to assist the training to improve the knowledge and training within the company.
  • Assistance with projects throughout the company- this may include anything from ERP support to product demonstration set ups for trade shows and customer sites.
Skills Required:
  • Must have previous experience within an IT Support position.
  • Ideally have client/ customer interaction experience.
Up to £30,000 plus comprehensive benefits package.
