This opportunity lies within our New Markets team, which focuses on Independent Schools, Golf Clubs and Accountants, wherein our services enable customers to pay annual fees, in affordable monthly instalments. As such, we are looking for a UX Designer to join our team at our head offices in Leatherhead. This is an exciting time to join Premium Credit as we transition from a company that simply builds tech to one which understands what their customers are trying to do and enables them to accomplish it. Your role in this transition will be to help change the mindset of the company and how UX is thought of across Premium Credit, across the design process and within the strategizing stages. As a UX Designer, you will be tasked with optimising the User Experience for new and existing customers across multiple platforms. You will provide an overall standardised approach to digital design development and support multiple initiatives and projects through interaction with the respective Development Teams. Specifically, your role will involve: - Creating wireframes and agreed interactions - Developing working prototypes - Conceptualising UX options for prospective products - Overseeing user research, user testing and focus groups - Engaging with stakeholders - Taking ownership of the UX and visual design process You'll be the acknowledged expert for relevant in-house systems and will develop a style guide for use across the organisation. Taking the lead on all elements of UX and visual design, you'll be line managing more junior team members. As such, we're looking for someone with the ambition of overseeing a team, but not necessarily experience of running one. Interested? If so, you will need: - Multi channel UX design experience with a track record of designing for a variety of mediums - Experience with transactional web applications - Proficiency in Axure, with additional experience in Photoshop or Illustrator - Evidenced experience of producing wire frames and prototypes Exposure you may have had will include: - eCommerce processes - Online payment processes - Digital self-service / "My Account" areas - Electronic document signing and storage - Consumer finance or brokerage apps and websites The ideal UX Designer will have UX experience of integrating web-based applications with legacy systems and core transactional applications.
