The supportive Headteacher has a clear vision for the school and has a supportive senior leadership team to drive positive changes throughout school.
Your new role
You new role is teaching KS3 & KS4 Science to mixed ability students. The Science teacher role is initially a temporary contract covering maternity leave on a full time basis, however, their is scope for this position to become permanent should you excel within the role. You will be supported by an experienced senior leadership team who constantly thrive towards continuous professional development for their staff.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful for this position, you must have experience of teaching Science at KS3 & KS4 and be able to deliver lessons in a purposeful and focused manner, whilst maintaining an enjoyable learning environment in which to keep the students actively engaged. Strong behaviour management skills are essential for this role and you must have behaviour management strategies available to support this. The Headteacher is seeking a motivated, ambitious teacher who is career driven.
