2nd Line Support Analyst - Operational support - Northants Fantastic opportunity for a Contractor with exceptional customer service skills and who enjoys a fast paced, state of the art environment! Shrinking violets need not apply! we require an experienced and highly motivated 2nd Line Service Desk Analyst, to join a fast paced Service Desk, whose primary responsibility is to provide IT operational support across the business for all IT services. A strong and broad ranging technical and customer focused background is therefore essential to be successful in the role. This is a hands-on position to support and deliver technical solutions throughout all stages of the ITIL service lifecycle. The job holder must deliver on both operational and project based tasks, against demanding Service Level Agreements and challenging deadlines, with the drive to exceed customer expectations combined with the ability to offer additional support and guidance to fellow Service desk team members. Knowledge, skills and experience required: A minimum of 4 years' proven experience in an operational support role, combined with excellent prioritisation and self-management skills (2rd line or equivalent) within a medium to large sized enterprise, including support of the following, - Support and optimization of in-house and bespoke applications - Client and mobile Operating Systems - Experience of scripting, orchestration and automation techniques - Enterprise client infrastructure, networking and compute - License, software and asset management - Security, vulnerability and malware threat prevention - Data protection and data loss prevention - Capacity, performance and availability monitoring - Backups and Disaster Recovery - Desktop virtualization - Email, telephony and Unified Communications - Enterprise video content delivery - Proven experience working to ITIL practices, - Proven continual service improvement experience - Exceptional customer service skills, This is your chance to work with a prestigious brand within the Motor Sport industry who continually push the boundaries of innovation, and define the bench mark for excellence, which others have to follow.
