Baltic Training and Sol Wise are delighted to be recruiting for an Infrastructure Technician Apprentice to join them at their office in Hessle. Sol Wise are a small team of technical experts who offer both networking supplies and installations to businesses across the country. Sol Wise pride themselves on understanding each of the products in their ranges, as well as offering specialist products which represent the best value for their clients.

You will train in way that supports you, while you develop the skills you need to be successful in the fastest growing sector in the UK. The successful candidate will be fully trained to carry out the following duties:
- Develop wireless solutions to best fit a company's requirement.
- Work successfully on a help desk to provide technical support to clients.
- Ensuring that all requests are dealt with appropriately, escalating unsolved problems to senior team members.
- General IT Maintenance
Training to be provided:
- Level 3 Advanced Apprenticeship in ICT
- Level 3 Diploma in ICT Professional Competence
- Level 3 Advanced Diploma in ICT Systems and Principles
- Level 2 Functional Skills (English, maths and ICT)
- CompTIA A+ 901 & 902 (Training only)
- CompTIA Network+ (Training only)
Skills and qualifications required:
- Passion for IT
- Keen to learn and develop within the role.
- Proactive & Self Motivated
- Organised, friendly and approachable.
The future is bright
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship programme, there are real progression opportunities available. Along with your employer, you may decide to progress onto our level 4 programme and take your training even further.
Salary, hours and benefits
- £132.00 per week
- 37.5 hours per week
Location and travel
This role is located in Hessle, close to the local train station and bus routes.
