Term time plus 5 days. 30 hours per week

Trinity Academy Sowerby Bridge will be a new academy within the Trinity Multi-Academy Trust, transferring to the trust in January 2018.The flagship academy, Trinity Academy Halifax is a model of excellence for the growing number of academies and free schools joining the trust. The team behind the success at Trinity are working to help those joining our trust to replicate their successes in improving the outcomes for children and young people.

Sowerby Bridge has a new leadership team in place, led by an Executive Principal. Through robust, clear systems and support; we can ensure that teachers can focus on developing their teaching. All of these fantastic and exciting initiatives require the expertise and commitment of dedicated staff and Trinity Academy Sowerby Bridge is currently looking to appoint a Learning Assistant. The teaching and learning support provided by the Learning Support team is crucial to the success of some of our most vulnerable students. Working under the direction of a classroom teacher you will provide classroom based support to a range of students, including those with Special Educational Needs.

Knowledge or experience of working in an educational setting is desirable, but not essential, and you will also possess the skills to work within a small team.

You must be fully committed to optimising the opportunities that are available to children and young people, secure in the knowledge that you will be joining an ambitious forward-thinking Academy Trust that sets the standards for our family of schools and academies.
