A client based in Chiswick is recruiting for a Product Development Executive Job Spec This is a challenging role which would suit someone with at least one year's experience in a similar field or with a relevant qualification. It is an exciting and diverse role which entails a combination of buying, product development, marketing and compliance. There are plenty of opportunities to grow in the role as the PD team is rapidly expanding. You will need to be a strong team player and have the ability to multi-task and have a can do attitude. Candidates should also possess a flair for marketing and first class communication skills including report writing. Attention to detail and persistence are also crucial as everything depends on getting it right the first time. Experience and understanding of buying and/or product compliance (such as RoHS and CE) would be an advantage. - - Working closely with the Creative and Production team to ensure they have accurate information to market the product. - Following up post sales trial to identify product defects and scope for product improvement. - Assist by producing accurate information for the PD Marketing Assistant to create monthly Product Decks for the business. - SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND COMPETENCES Ideally the candidate will be from a business, marketing or product related background or someone with previous experience or a candidate with a flair for product marketing who is highly organised and keen to take our products through the various stages of product development including product specifications. Candidates will need to demonstrate a relevant qualification or previous experience. - Must have an eye for detail and experience of analysing data and products and when producing written reports, good spelling and grammar are essential. - Strong communication skills - both on telephone and face-to-face - Planning and organisational skills - ability to balance competing priorities. - Excel - good analytical skills - ability to organise, categorise and reproduce detailed information with speed and efficiency using Excel. - Personal effectiveness - being able to prioritise own time and workload without constant supervision and ability to work to tight deadlines.
