Employer Description Chipping Campden School is an outstanding non-selective secondary school and sixth form with academy status located in Chipping Campden, in the English county of Gloucestershire. The school celebrated its 575th birthday in 2015. Job Description A fantastic opportunity to gain an IT Systems and Networking qualification (Infrastructure Technician Standard, Level 3), whilst working with a dedicated supportive school IT team. To provide first-line IT Services support to staff and students at Chipping Camden School and our Primary Service Schools. Main role/ responsibilities - Assisting students and staff with first-line technical support issues - ICT support tasks as directed by the Senior IT Services Technician and/or IT Services Manager - User account administration - Classroom technical support and assistance - Daily checking and maintenance of computer suites - Printer and photocopier toner/ink cartridge replacement as required - Periodically checking and filling Tech Block photocopier with paper - Installation and maintenance of computer hardware and peripherals - Periodic checks of laptop banks for any technical issues - Periodic hardware audits as directed by the IT Services Manager - Daily checks around school site to identify potential technical support issues - Assisting with audio-visual setups for assemblies and calendared after-school events Other - The post holder will be expected to undertake any other reasonable associated duties as directed by the Principal Qualities/ essential requirements - Passion, enthusiasm, ambition and drive - Excellent attention to detail - Good organisational skills - Confidence Desired Qualification 3 x GCSE (or equivalent) at grades A-C in any subject plus GCSE English and Maths (or equivalents) at grade D or above Other Important Information Daily Working days/hours - Monday-Friday, 9am-4:30pm Benefits - Ongoing Support and internal development opportunities - You will learn from a high skilled team and there will be a clear plan for training
