An exciting opportunity has arisen for a locum in-house Employment Solicitor to join a Financial Services organisation at their office in the West Country. This role is to cover Maternity Leave, and is offered for an initial term of 12 months, subject to extension.
About the role
Working within a friendly, established team, you will pick up a busy caseload of existing Employment matters. You will be dealing with a range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters including mergers and disposals, TUPE transfers, senior hires and Employee rewards. There will also be an element of negotiation and liaison with Unions and Panel Solicitors.
About the person
The Employment Solicitor must be a UK qualified solicitor ideally with a minimum of 5 years PQE. Drafting skills and experience of undertaking advocacy are essential. Experience of working within a regulated sector or within Financial Services would be an advantage. The successful candidate would be the sole Employment Solicitor within the team, therefore a wide breadth of experience is essential and you must be comfortable dealing with stakeholders at all levels.
