I am working exclusively with a highly reputable Housing Association in Greater Manchester, which is looking to recruit a Finance Manager on an interim basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a diverse, innovate and expanding Housing Association that is offering a great opportunity for a varied workload to head up the transactional team and financial aspects of the organisation.
Your new role
You will manage all financial and accounting operations, including regulatory, year-end and financial reporting. It will also be your responsibility for the day to day management of a small transactional team within the department.
What you will need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/ACMA/CIPFA or similar) with previous experience working in a finance manager position, ideally within a comparable role in a Housing Association. Compliance is a critical element within this position so experience within preparing statutory year end accounts is key. You will have sound technical accounting skills, the ability to analyse data and prepare written reports. It is essential that you have experience of preparing year end accounts. Immediate availability is preferred.
