Page Personnel are currently recruiting a fantastic Purchase Ledger Manager opportunity for a leading medical and nursing company with a Head Office based in York.

Client Details

The client is a rapidly growing, private equity backed company who have experienced unparalleled growth over the last 18 months. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a national company with a centralised function in York who are quickly establishing themselves as the market leader in their field. The growth has led to requirement of a Purchase Ledger Manager to join the Transactional team and lead 5 staff members.


As a Purchase Ledger Manager you will be reporting into the Head of Transactional Services, with 5 direct reports, your duties will include, however are not limited to: Dealing with purchase ledger processes, Ensuring supplier statements are reconciled, Managing the team of 5 purchase ledger clerks (currently, but expected to grow), Review and check data for errors and accuracy, Train and develop the team, organising individual meetings to review performance and to support with future development, Establish and develop controls to keep up with business demands and improve processes, Manage the administration requirements of the department.


The successful candidate will:

  • Have prior supervisory/managerial experience
  • Have an excellent understanding of accounts payable
  • Have improved processes previously
  • Be comfortable in a growing department
