System Projects Analyst (Data, SQL) BLUS54499


Salary: £25,000 - £30,000

Our Client administers the Principal Civil Service Pension Scheme (PCSPS) and provides pensions to over 1.5 million people. They have in-depth knowledge and expertise in the administration of Defined Benefit pension schemes and provide tailored services to more than 300 Government employers. Also, through the Training and Employee Engagement Service, they offer training on a wide range of pension related topics and legislative change.

They are now looking to appoint a Systems Projects Analyst within their Technology Solutions department based at their offices in Liverpool. This is a permanent, full time position.

This exciting role will provide opportunity for the successful candidate to utilise technical skills to analyse, scope and deliver technical system and data changes for new and existing clients. Using your strong analytical, problem solving and attention to detail skills, you will create a direct, positive benefit to their clients and the pension members they serve.

You will be responsible for delivering system and data related projects, whilst analysing data held within our applications, identifying areas where cleansing activities should be undertaken to improve accuracy and efficiency. Producing a wide range of MI and analysis for both internal and external stakeholders, the role involves requirements analysis, technical design, solution documentation and support.

They are looking for someone who has GCSE (or equivalent) Maths and English Grade C or above, coupled with experience in programming languages such as SQL. With strong problem solving skills, and the ability to resolve issues through probing and consultation, you will have experience in analysing high volumes of data and defining logic to group results.

With excellent communication skills you will be approachable and responsive to colleagues and users, and will have a constructive approach to problem solving.
