Standalone Accounts Manager needed on a temporary basis
Your new company
Your new company, based in Salisbury, are looking for a standalone Accounts Manager to join them temporarily. This will be a part time role at 3 days per week and they need someone to start immediately. This is an ongoing assignment.
Your new role
In your new role you will be managing the Sales Ledger, creating sales invoices and credit notes, providing credit control and accurately receipting and recording bank payments. You will also be managing the Purchase Ledger, raising purchase orders, reviewing supplier invoices and liaising with budget holders. You will be producing quarterly management accounts, from trial balance through to statement of profit and loss and statement of financial position for review. You will be posting journals to recognise prepayments and accruals, keeping records of all deferred income and maintaining the Fixed Asset register. There will also be other ad-hoc tasks as required.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will have experience in a similar role and have ideally used Quickbooks. You will have experience producing and analysing financial statements. You will be organised, have high levels of accuracy and attention to detail. You will be a self motivated team player with excellent IT skills.
