The mission Our client is more than just an internet service provider; it also installs its own fibre infrastructure into multi-occupancy buildings, bringing the UK's fastest internet speeds to users. Your mission will be to deliver our market leading fibre services to their buildings. Experience You will need to be a data oriented manager preferably with experience in a telecoms company. You will need to understand and be able to demonstrate how to translate business plan principles into team delivery targets, with the right measurements and metrics in place to know if you are on track to deliver them. Being naturally data oriented and curious, data capture and analysis will be key to your operating mode. Reporting Line Reporting to the TBD. Responsibilities and duties will include: - Reviewing and monitoring and driving improvements in the fibre delivery processes, working with other company departments. - Tracking key department data to provide meaningful reporting on team efficiency, throughput and costs. Ensuring delivery to budget - Resource forecasting, recruitment and training - Forecasting demand across other departments, ordering, civil engineering etc. - Tracking and analysing the benefits realised through fibre delivery. Reviewing and refining the business plan to maximise benefits. - Responsible for ensuring compliance with all local authority permitting requirements, working with the permitting team. - Internal point of escalation for fibre delivery matters - Weekly reporting of progress, risks and issues, and financial performance. The following KPI's will form part of the measurement of success of this post - Delivery. On time, on budget and to required quality standards Person specification: (Essential and desirable) - Proven record of successful management career, preferably in a telecoms/fibre optic network company (5yrs min) - Data orientation - Excellent people management skills - Proactive approach - Energetic, logical with an eye for detail - Excellent understanding of health and safety. - High personal integrity, excellent decision making and judgement
