Helpdesk Analyst x2 -- Spalding, Lincolnshire - 4 months contract My client is seeking two motivated & enthusiastic Helpdesk Analysts, providing 1st line support to over 5,000 users. Job Overview The successful applicant will join an existing team of 6 Analysts, providing 1st line support by quickly and accurately diagnosing and addressing issues reported by our users. This will involve basic hardware & software troubleshooting, application of 1st line fixes for a wide variety of issues, monitoring systems & networks with pro-active routine checks and dealing with general queries and enquiries. Joining a team within an exciting and rapidly changing environment, dedicated to business improvement, you will operate in a technically demanding environment providing reactive and pro-active support services in the resolution of IT related issues. Providing friendly, effective and reliable service to agreed SLA's will be the primary goal of this role. You must have a passion for delivering high quality customer service & technical support, and enjoy the challenges of troubleshooting & resolving technical issues. Technical Requirements; - Experience with first line / 1 st line diagnosis & resolution of technical issues. - Confident working in and supporting MS Windows environments (XP, Windows 7). - Confident using & supporting MS office applications. - Knowledge of ITIL (desirable). - Experience using call logging software. - Experience working to SLA's. Personal Skills & Attributes: - Excellent customer service and communication skills, with superb telephone manner. - Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment. - Motivated, enthusiastic and adaptable individual. - Willing and keen to learn new skills and processes. - Able to work to targets & deadlines, good time management. - A 'team player', able to give and receive constructive criticism.
