A growing organisation in the Bridgwater area is currently recruiting a Finance Manager as a result of business expansion.
This is an excellent opportunity to support the group as it acquires new businesses and you will also have exposure to operations and sales. Managing a small team you will take ownership of the month end process as well as forecasting for the group and consolidating the annual budget and producing consolidated financial accounts. Other responsibilities will include overseeing VAT and other statutory reporting, maintaining all nominal ledgers and implementing and maintaining internal controls.
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong technical skills. Experience of acquisition accounting and foreign exchange would be advantageous but are not essential. The role could equally suit candidates from a practice background or those with relevant industry experience.
