Project Manager within Marketing & Advertising Sector I am currently working with one of the largest organisations within the Advertising sector who are currently looking for a PM to start ASAP based in Surrey & London for a 12 month contract. You will PM the data discovery remediation efforts following an extensive gap analysis exercise. This role will be responsible for the implementation of relevant (GDPR compliant) solutions that will go towards addressing these gaps and underpin our journey towards achieving GDPR compliance. You will work within a matrix structure. You are expected to be able to influence both existing project management, infrastructure engineering and operational teams to lead them towards modern best practices You will be: - Principle contact for the project management of the data discovery remediation project - Working with stakeholders to prioritize the backlog of work, whilst maintaining a well-rounded understanding of the requirements of achieving GDPR compliance; - Maintaining all relevant documentation to track, manage and deliver the requirements of the project within strict timelines and to allocated budget - Supporting the Data Engineer to ensure the engineering of the data discovery remediation for the project - Supporting the Business Analyst to ensure the analysis of the data discovery remediation for the project - Accountable for the implementation of all project related risks, issues and their resolution. - Accountable for initiatives as identified in the scope and ensuring that solutions are delivered accordingly to the requirements set by Architecture - Ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed and that their relevant technology/service areas are provided with the relevant information as accordingly whilst promoting standardization across the board; Essential requirements - Strong understanding of Data Loss Prevention and Data Protection; - Strong understanding of the various business processes, technologies and infrastructures that are normally employed within the media / advertising industry; - Strong understanding and awareness of the GDPR legislation Desirable - Experience of at least one project involving DLP/DPA related efforts; - ISO27001 / ISO27002 compliance experience Location: Surrey & London (there will also be working from home) Rate: £500 p/day Start date: ASAP - 12 months
