Job Title: Landesk Service Desk Application Specialist - (Ivanti Service Desk) Location: Coleshill - Flexible home working 2 days a week possible Package: Circa £30k + Excellent Benefits We currently have a great opportunity for an Application Specialist to join our client based in Coleshill to play a key part in developing, integrating, administering and supporting the Ivanti / Landesk Service Desk implementation. You will: - Assist Business Units with Initial Data and Requirements Gathering, Product Testing and Implementation Support. - Ensure Business Unit Data is entered into the system correctly - Document any Business Unit Requirements or Enhancement Requests - Implement Agreed Changes, Enhancements and Fixes to Processes, Windows, Queries and other Product areas as required. - Test and implement new product releases. - Perform Strict Release Control of Features and Products - Document changes to the ITSM product, including creation of Release Notes, Documentation, Knowledge Articles and Training Material - Escalate Issues to Project Manager and Line Manager in advance of conflicts occurring. - Managing own workload, ensuring project deliverables are achieved on time. Key Skills: - Experience of the Design and Administration of Ivanti Service Desk (Previously LANDesk Service Desk) in an Application Support or Development environment - Experience of Troubleshooting Application Issues - specifically with Ivanti Service Desk - Experience of providing time estimations based on enhancement or change requests in order to manage and prioritise workload. - Experience of working in an ICT Service Support Environment - Experience of SQL - Ability to communicate effectively and share information as required, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences. - Strong awareness of ITIL Foundation - Competent in one more programming languages - Ivanti Service Desk Certified Engineer (CLE - Certified LANDesk Engineer) - ITIL Foundation v3 - Basic HTML - Experience of IIS - Experience of Crystal Reporting - Experience of Xtraction - Experience in Javascript - Strong influencing and relationship management skills - Self-driven and resourceful to achieve goals independently as well as working well within groups We are an Employment Business and an Employment Agency as defined within The Conduct of Employment Agencies & Employment Businesses Regulations 2003
