Our client, a leading global FMCG business, are looking for an experienced Warehousing ERP SME/Functional Consultant who will be the internal subject matter specialist and lead on on-going development of a new implemented ERP system. Reporting to the Head of IT, you will have a broad range of responsibilities including: Key Responsibilities: - Responsibility and oversite of the implementation, maintenance, configuration and customization of the WMS and associated application(s), relating to the UK and to the international warehouse functions - Responsible for the ERP and WMS working environment of the international customer care team, involving all interactions between themselves and the warehouse (stock ordering, availability, tracking, fulfilment etc). - Responsible for scope gathering, system design concepts and introducing ongoing new features and capabilities to the system - Managing system acceptance testing (SAT), user acceptance testing (UAT) and change management procedures - Managing business stakeholders to drive continuous improvement, along with continued stability of the platform - Acting in an advisory role to the business - Monitoring usage of systems - Implementation of policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure the data quality and consistency across all company owned distributors - Coordinating and occasional delivery of training to the users Experience & Skills: - A strong technical and implementation background is a must-have - In-depth exposure to a warehouse environment, fulfilment centre or 3PL - Experience of implementing a warehouse management system (WMS) and providing added benefits to existing warehouse systems - A thorough understanding of a WMS solution, and NetSuite (or a similar ERP) preferably from a distribution, retail & eCom or warehousing environment - Detailed understanding of common industry standard business practices as related to warehousing (pick, pack, ship, invoice, RMA, goods movement, goods in, logistics and fulfilment) - Experience with software in a SaaS environment - Exposure to other warehousing platforms - Exposure working within an international business - Strong analytical and problem solving skills - Ability to work creatively and to be able to resolve problems - Ability to balance technical skills with business savvy and able to transform end-user needs into functional requirements - Excellent customer service skills with the ability to form solid relationships both externally and internally - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
