If so, I am sure you will be interested in the role I am currently advertising on behalf on my electronics distribution and manufacturing client based in Norfolk. Due to continued growth, which has been driven by a strong sales pipeline aligned with identifying expanding markets and pursuing successful opportunities, my client are looking to hire and ultimately develop the next generation of Sales Engineer to join their team. Initially this role will be an Internal Account Management role, with the successful individual spending their time working with internal departments to progress and manage portfolio of existing customers to the business. You will be expected to learn about the products, the business processes and sector during this initial period, whilst demonstrating your ability to build relationships and establish trust within the market, as you grow, your role with grow and your earnings will grow. Once time has been spent working internally, the expectation is that you will grow the accounts you work with, picking up new products and offering an extension to the services you currently offer - ultimately proving you can win and develop business for the client - its at this point you will progress into a field based role. The timeline for this process will be driven by your ability to achieve financial and developmental targets by the Sales Manager. Ideally you will be based to my clients site, and have some experience in either direct selling or account management in a previous role. My client supply into the Technology and Manufacturing sectors, so some knowledge of these areas is preferred, but not essential as all of the training is given on the job - all you need to bring is dynamism, energy and enthusiasm - the rest will be shown.
