An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a public transport Company and to work within a successful and driven training team. The role will be to support and manage specific departmental projects and systems. You will be training on a range of topics from systems and procedures, Health & Safety, compliance and soft skills. Ideally you will have an understanding of some of the rail regulatory bodies including RSSB, ORR, RDG, DFT. However, an awareness of operational and safety rules, standards and regulations is a prerequisite. Ideally you will hold a professional qualification in learning and development. In order to carry out this position you will need experience of managing project and be highly adaptable with a keen eagerness to learn. You will be highly organised and have the capability of facilitating and leading work group sessions. Responsibilities will also include: Supporting the management of the organisations training plan with continuous interaction with team leaders, L&D Resource Manager and Specification Manager Support the course leads with the design and development of course content using all resources. Development and implementation of the communication plan to advise internal and external customers of the services provided by the training department. Assist management in the undertaking of the validation and maintenance of all training materials, processes, procedures and enrure that they are approved and documents are controlled Assist the course leads in the management of their courses ensuring they are fit for purpose. Other project related and ad hoc duties.
