About the role

UK IT in Vodafone covers a multitude of projects spanning multiple New Product Developments, strategic Platform developments, Product enhancements, Digital Capability across critical elements of every customer journey & an End to End Process transformation - all being driven in an Agile ecosystem.

As an IT Scrum Master within such complex transformational programs, you'll develop and lead high-performing, multi-discipline agile teams, instilling in them a clear vision and a passionate drive to succeed.

You'll be responsible for
Challenging and improving the operation of the team, driving their performance and capability to succeed.Embedding operating models that value ownership, responsiveness, predictability and transparency.Mentoring and executing Agile, Lean, and Continuous Delivery best practices, embedding DevOps behaviours and principles driving a model of continuous delivery.Ensuring the path is clear for your team, removing blockers, facilitating discussions, enabling seamless communications and working with the Product Owner to clarify the product backlog ahead.Ensuring your teams drive their deliveries with quality, innovation and automation at the heart. Key Skills / ExperienceProven track record as an IT Scrum MasterExtensive experience as a Scrum Master role within an agile environment, applying Scrum principles, practices, and theory.In-depth background in leading Agile teams with a deep understanding of modern development practice & technique.A deep understanding of the software development lifecycle with the ability to mentor, motivate and shape high performing teamsExperience leading multi-discipline technology teams across multiple locations.An enthusiastic interest in modern development practice, tooling technologies and techniques.Experience of developing multi-technology, large scale programmes in a fast-paced organisation.Experience of the technology side of the Telecoms & Enterprise sector.Experience of working in a multi-vendor, multi-platform diverse delivery set-up.Why Vodafone?
