c Circa £30,000 per annum Wimbledon Our client is recruiting for a Credit Control Team Leader to join their Sales Ledger team. This forms part of the wider finance department, based within their Head Office in central Wimbledon. About the Role: Supporting the Sales Ledger Manager, the successful candidate will manage the daily activities of the Credit Control function, motivating, coaching and developing the team. Along with the day to day running of the function, the Credit Control Team leader will manage one of the four divisions of the company and the company in Business (URIB). This role requires a creative strong leader who is performance driven and can excite and inspire others and is an exciting opportunity for a high calibre credit professional to lead and develop the team to achieve business objectives ensuring consistent debt management and cash performance. The Credit Control Team Leader will also be responsible for guiding, coaching and developing the team to ensure the smooth running of this result-oriented department. About You: They are looking for a positive team player with enthusiastic manner, who takes a flexible, 'can-do' approach to work. To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate the following skills and competencies: * Intermediate to advance excel skills. * The confidence to deal with difficult clients & high level internal management & be able to give guidance and train colleagues where needed. * A systematic approach to work and a good eye for attention to detail. * The ability to make a judgment when to consult others and act on information. * Confidence in working autonomously/independently to meet ever-changing deadlines. * Ability to work well under pressure and to prioritise and organise workloads effectively. * A willing and adaptable aptitude to provide support to the team when necessary, especially during busy periods. * Previous experience of managing staff and possess a polite, professional and assertive communication style.
