Baltic Training are currently working alongside Assistive Partner to recruit a Software Development Apprentice to join an ever-growing, vibrant Development department based at the heart of Redditch Town Centre.

An Apprentice Developer will work with the development team, learning how to maintain and develop Assistive Partner's software applications as well as becoming involved in ongoing customer support at a second line level.
The apprentice will be part of an agile team using a Scrum & Kanban process. They will learn how to become responsible for managing individual sprint jobs, Source Control and learning new skills.
- Working on VB.Net Development with HTML.
- Software testing and design.
- SQL and databases.
Training to be Provided:
- Level 3 Diploma in ICT Professional Competence
- Level 3 Advanced Diploma in ICT Systems and Principles
- Software Testing and Software Design
- Unix Fundamentals
- Event-driven Programming using Visual Basic.NET
- Object-oriented Programming C#
- Customer Support Provision
Skills and Qualifications required:
- 5 GCSE's A-C grades, including Maths and English.
- Passion for IT.
- Great organisational and communication skills.
The future is bright:
Upon completion of the programme, there are real progression opportunities available. Along with your employer, you may decide to progress onto our Level 4 programme and take your training even further.
Salary, hours and benefits:
- £150 per week
- Full time (37.5 Hours per week)
Location and Travel:
This role is located in central Redditch and is easily accessible via the local bus and train stations.
