This newly created role is a key position in Version 1's marketing team, responsible for developing, driving and implementing partner marketing activity. Version 1's primary partners are Oracle, Microsoft and Amazon Web Services, and we also work with a network of other technology and channel partners. The role will be responsible for developing, driving and implementing our Partner Marketing strategy in liaison with key partner managers and stakeholders throughout our business. The role will also plan, implement and manage channel & partner marketing campaigns. The role will work very closely with the Marketing team - including Digital & Events, Sales & Account Management, Service Delivery, Subject Matter Experts and our Practices. The ideal candidate will have experience of working as a Channel or Partner Marketing Manager within a major software solutions company, and will have exceptional IT industry insight. Candidates should have experience of working with multi-site teams. Job Objectives* Plan and execute demand & lead generation activities with all Partners via a campaign managed approach * Identify sources of business development content, support and infrastructure available from the Partners and leverage these. * Work with Marketing; particularly Content, Digital, Events and Telemarketing to deploy campaigns * Work with Sales and partner stakeholders within Version 1 to identify, nurture and close opportunities presented through partner engagement and marketing * Manage Partner Marketing campaign forecasts * Act a Version 1 Brand Guardian and Champion with our partners, Skills Required* Degree educated, preferably in Marketing, Journalism, Advertising, PR, Communications, or a related field * 5+ years of relevant work experience * Native or bilingual proficiency in English * Substantial understanding of the IT market, market trends, key players and industries * Experience of Partner and Channel Marketing disciplines and demonstrable marketing competencies * Understanding of partner driven marketing campaigns, audience generation and segmentation of customers * Budget & project management skills * Excellent inter-personal and stakeholder management skills * Experience of coordinating work across teams * Highly organised with great attention to detail * Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines * Resilient and able to work in a highly demanding environment * Innovative and creative thinker with ability to initiate and manage own projects with outstanding execution * Eager to learn new things, explore opportunities and find solutions with the resources available
