The Client
Our client is a B2B Publisher based in the heart of London, who specialise in working with family run businesses. They are a close knit business, and are looking for a Research or Insight Manager to join their research team. This role will suit someone who has experience within the financial services sector, with a strong primary research background. This role will allow you to gain insight into wealthy, family run businesses and to assess the challenges they are currently facing. The have an extensive network of individuals that they utilise to conduct the research and you will be able to get involved in thought leadership pieces.

The Role
In this role, you will be focusing on working with a variety of clients within the financial services space, largely in wealth management and investment banking. You will be tasked with identifying clients business problems and developing surveys that can help them answer these problems. You will be working closely with the rest of the business (such as the journalists, sales team and events team).

Key Duties Include:-
- Scoping out research projects and managing them from start to finish
- Designing the research projects
- Conducting both quantitative and qualitative research as needed, often working with both methodologies on one project
- Utilising the network to conduct the research
- Carrying out the analysis and writing reports and presentations
- Presenting to clients
- Writing thought-leadership pieces

The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level and will have a strong research background (either from a research agency, media agency or clientside organisation). You will be highly skilled in quantitative methodologies, ideally with some experience in qualitative research as well. You will be confident working with senior level stakeholders and will enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team. Experience in the financial services sector would be beneficial and a keen interest is a must. You will have excellent writing skills and will be confident to write research reports with little supervision. Experience working with Q would be an advantage, although is not essential.
