These are exciting times for England Netball as we are currently ranked No.3 in the World. With a growing membership and regular television coverage we are seeking to appoint a Director of Finance and Corporate Resources who is a high achiever and has the will to succeed in helping us take the next step to being a world leading Governing Body of Sport. As Director of Finance and Corporate Resources, reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for Finance, IT, H&S and HR. This will include: - Leading and managing the Finance Directorate, including administration and systems; managing and developing the staff team, resources, processes and working practices to ensure compliance with statutory regulations, best practice guidelines and England Netball`s Strategic Plan - Working with the Executive Team (ET) to play an active role in the strategic leadership of the organisation, the development of the sport and the building of positive relations with Non-Executive Directors and the stakeholders of England Netball. - To fulfil/support the role of Company Secretary in accordance with statutory requirements, good practice and England Netball's Governing Documents. The successful candidate will be a strong leader and manager, delivery focused, highly motivated and be able to demonstrate the ability to think and act strategically, whilst maintaining a 'hands on' approach. You will also be required to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders, have an appreciation for the values of the organisation, excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure. You must be a qualified member of an accountancy body; ACA, CIMA, ACCA or CIPFA. It is desirable but not essential that you have experience of working as a registered Company Secretary or have knowledge and understanding of governance structures within a membership organisation. As these are not essential requirements the role is open to candidates from all sector and industry backgrounds.
