Salary – Up to £75,000 (Depending on Experience) & Package
Location: LondonAbout the Company:My client was established in 2006 as a management company offering highly integrated services across the full property cycle. Services include: development management, project management, funding solutions, acquisition work, litigation support and various administrative and accounting services. The main role of my client is to provide a day to day supervision service, strategic advice to its clients – predominantly to companies where their principal business activities are property development or investment led. About the Role:Having 2 offices based both in the heart of Central London my client is now looking to bring an experience Quantity Surveyor on board to assist the current Commercial Manager. Due to their strong expansion plans for the upcoming 5 years, they are looking to employ a number of capable and like-minded individuals to their company workforce. Their portfolio is developing and the type of projects they carry out will be evolving but some of my client’s current projects include: Multi unit RC Frame residential new build in Bermondsey, a luxury multi-storey new build of 1, 2, 3 bedroom apartments and a development of high specification studio, one, two and three bedroom apartments all in excess of £25 million.Some of your duties may include;
·Sub-contract tendering and procurement to meet required deadlines
·Provide a detailed prelims cost budget and share with Site Manager at the appropriate time.
·Payment of subcontractors, variation orders and settlement of final accounts.
·Monitoring and explaining cost movements.
·Monitor and explain subcontractor cost movements.
·Responsible for subcontractor payments, variation orders and day works and settlement of final accounts.
·Undertake monthly cost reports and estimate future likely cost expenditure.
·Report on savings and excesses against budget costs to the Director.
·Forecast final accounts.
·Monitor, reconcile and recharge any costs, which relate to shared cost items with either other businesses within the Group or external Companies.Candidates Requirements:
- At least 5-7 years within a Quantity Surveyor role
- Must have experience within the house building industry
- Can come from a Developer or Main Contracting background
- High spec residential & RC Frame experience would be beneficial
