1st Line ICT Support Technician Location: Blackburn Salary: £20,000 plus company benefits Training 2000 is an 'Amazing Place with Amazing People'. A challenging and exciting vacancy has arisen for a 1st Line ICT Support Technician within the ICT Department. This post is dedicated to supporting, enhancing and developing the students, employees and systems used across the whole company. About the role: This role will be key in the first and second line support to all company employees and students across a wide range of disciplines such as desktop, system, server and telephony support. Within this role the successful candidate will develop their own knowledge and skills working in conjunction with the Network Development and Senior ICT Engineers The successful candidate will need to establish excellent rapport across the company, communicating at all levels in a professional and supportive manner to ensure efficient and quality support is provided to the end user. Essential Requirements: - Strong software and hardware knowledge across standard business systems and mobile platforms - Microsoft, Apple (MACOS / IOS), Android - Relevant qualifications suitable to the role i.e. MCP, ACSP etc - Knowledge of the configuration and support of ip telephony systems - Knowledge of Microsoft server operating systems and the use of active directory and office 365 - Knowledge and experience of network configuration, structure and cabling Previous experience in a first / second line support role is essential The successful candidate must have excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to deliver an outstanding service across the company communicating at all levels. For this role, you must have an excellent understanding of supporting Windows desktop operating system environments, troubleshooting and problem solving. In addition to this you must possess a deep passion for developing the use of technology within the workplace through innovation and support.
