Job Title: 1st / 2nd Line Support Engineer

Location: Stockport

Salary: Up to £26k + excellent bens! NO SHIFT WORK

My client, a highly established Managed Services Provider specialising in a wide spectrum of clients across the North West, is currently looking for 1st / 2nd Line Support Engineers to join their friendly team after experiencing continual year-on-year success.

They also offer one of the best work environments available at an MSP, with a massive push on training and work/life balance - they operate 8-5pm hours with NO SHIFT WORK.

As a 1st / 2nd Line Support Engineer you will ideally have a background of working within MPSs and understand the environment, this isn't essential but it would definitely be beneficial. Alongside this, skills with Office365 full package administration (Outlook, Sharepoint, Microsoft Office and Windows Admin) is essential, while experience of working in a Cloud environment would be very beneficial.

Experience of 1st/2nd line IT support is an essential requirement, being the first contact for support, whether that be via telephone, email or system tray. You will be resolving 1st / 2nd line change requests and incidents according to Service Level Agreements (SLAs)- alongside escalating tickets to your seniors where necessary. Floor walking is also required, any experience being an advantage but not essential.

As a 1st / 2nd Line Support Engineer you will be well-versed in Desktop support (with any knowledge of networking and servers beneficial, but not essential) fault finding, diagnostics and problem solving ability with a particular focus on Microsoft technologies.

1st / 2nd Line Support Engineer other skills include:

*Professional and friendly manner with fantastic communication skills to interact with both clients and candidates in resolving 1st / 2nd Line Support tickets

*Being able to think on your feet and prioritise your workload

*Full UK Driving license is desired, but not essential.

*Microsoft Certifications are desirable but not essential

*Microsoft Cloud Products experience is desirable, but training will be provided
