We are delighted to be working in close conjunction with a market-leading organisation; my client manufacturers, develops and markets industry leading hearing and balance diagnostic solutions, operating on a global platform. We are currently recruiting a highly skilled individual for the position of Field Service Engineer, the primary purpose of this role will be to provide field service support for software and device installation, device repair and calibration for a range of diagnostic medical systems throughout the South-East region of the UK, daily travel throughout is required. Main duties & responsibilities: - Provide professional onsite support for NHS and private sector customers for company diagnostic and screening products. - Provide front line support including installation, configuration and fault finding / rectification on company software platforms - Manages time efficiently to ensure customer issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner - Supports achievement of UK KPI's for 2018 including promotion of company service products i.e. service contracts - Manage all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks - Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine proper solutions - Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings - Work with counterparts in UK sales to coordinate and prioritise customer support and activity The successful applicant will ideally have previous field service experience, possessing the ability to troubleshoot, test, repair and service technical equipment, having a familiarity with mobile tools and applications. Ideally, you will own a technical degree or certification equivalent, have strong IT literacy and can work flexible shifts to adapt to changing work schedules, most importantly, we are looking for someone with the personality fit for a thriving organisation, someone who is motivated for a new, exciting challenge.
