Are you an Design Engineer with a track record of delivering racing car components and systems? Would you like to work within a small team with a large reach of responsibilities? Would you enjoy working with new special vehicle programmes? We have a fantastic opportunity within our clients special vehicle operations, based in Gaydon. You will be a part of a successful and dynamic team where you will create a track version of a road based production vehicle.This vehicle will compete in a FIA approved championship in locations around the globe. Your requirements: -For this position it is important to have a proven history of delivering competitive race car components and systems -Experience working with Formula 1. WEC, WTC. WRC, MLP, Formula E or similar would be essential -Vast experience using Catia V5 -Being self-motivated with a drive to work in high pressured deadlines will be necessary -Experience working to regulatory safety standards -Experience of motorsport environment sign off requirements wuld be an advantage -Knowledge of FIA regulations as well as HV systems would be a preference Your responsibilities: -We are looking for an individual join the team and be responsible for engineering a delivering a wide range of specialised components suitable for this environment -Responsible for component design, analysis, CAD and delivery -Responsible for component targets and design validation and supplier management and delivery -Responsible for ensuring components meet with governing body regulations -Work with the Design team to ensure alignment of engineering targets and appearance -Interface to the wider SVO engineering team to aid future model development -Management of budgets and delivery timeline This vacancy is being advertised by Advanced Resource Managers.
