Are you an ambitious IT Project Manager looking for an exciting new challenge? Would you like to work for luxury global brand leader within their sector? Can demonstrate a strong track record of delivering a diverse range of projects across the IT Landscape? Do you have experience implementing robust project plans and governance? This is a newly created opportunity for an high calibre project manager to join a the organisation in the first dedicated project management role and really make an impact on the whole business. As the successful applicant you will be responsible for delivering a wide range of projects from complex systems upgrades where you will be working with multiple third party providers across the globe to deliver critical business improvement programmes to local projects which could include upgrading firewalls. A key responsibility will be to implement robust project plans and governance which can be replicated across the business, this could include project kick offs, thorough documentation of each project, a risk register which can be easily reviewed by the senior management team as part of the board pack. The role responsibilities are anticipated to be quiet dynamic so you will need to be comfortable managing competing agendas and stakeholders. To be considered you will be able to demonstrate a strong record of project delivery, a good understanding of project management principles and governance , you will be an excellent communicator who is easily able to work with a diverse range of stakeholders quickly understand the challenges and provide solutions. Experience within the travel/hospitality sector would be beneficial but not essential You will be happy to get involved in the detail when required but equally comfortable reporting findings to the board and presenting costed proposals to move forward.
