Our Chesterfield based client are a world leader within their sector and due to continued growth and an internal promotion an new position has arisen for a target driven and proven sales person who has the hunger and desire to increase new sales and develop already established business within the UK and Europe.The purpose of the role;* Develop and support our growing business with distributor accounts.* Identify and create opportunities to present our clients products and capabilities to prospective customer decision makers in design, purchasing, manufacturing and quality. * Work closely with distributor network to maximise our clients sales opportunities. * Identify and develop new and existing distribution channels in a number of market segments. * Manage the day to day commercial and technical interface between our client and the customer. * Achieve sales and profit targets for the area. * Ownership of KPI's and the presentation of these to Senior Management at regular meetings. The key responsibilities for the role; - Sales achievement in given agreed geographical area covering the whole of Europe. - Maintaining and managing relationships with existing and potential customers. - Discussing terms and conditions including pricing levels (within given guidelines) with both existing and new customers. - Generating customer quotations and update the Heritage market project database. - Annual and monthly forecasting and the use of variation analysis to present monthly achievements. - Assisting in the management of customer past dues and the control of products. - Maintaining accurate customer records. - Reporting on competitor activities within the given markets. - Compliance to internal policies including: Revenue recognition, Financial compliance, Export compliance and Company ethics - Co-operation with other members of the team dedicated to the continued development of the presence of our client in the market place. - Ad-hoc duties as required.
