It is a fast paced environment working with some of the world's leading companies. As a full service agency we deliver web sites and mobile apps developed by our in-house IT team. The office is a recently converted building in the heart of Henley. The team are a hard-working, fun loving mix of designers and developers. Key Responsibilities: From day one you will be working as part of the development team, which currently consists of four developers who have different skill sets and technical knowledge. You will also get to work with the design team as you help to bring design ideas to life as fully functioning apps and web sites. - Working under the guidance of the Digital Development Manager and as part of the IT team - Work alongside the IT team on the Applications, Infrastructure and Systems so they meet current and - future needs - First line support to handle the day to day user requests from service desk system - Supporting existing client websites / apps - Developing new websites / apps - internal and client - Assisting with identifying solutions to client requirements - Participate in office meetings and sit in on client meetings - Keep up to date with current web technologies and coding/programming - Have an understanding of the latest web trends and their role in a commercial environment. Required Skills: You will have at least 7 GCSEs (C and above) including Maths and English, an aptitude for computing and a willingness to work hard for your future career. - Someone with a real interest in web design and app development - Good organisational skills and must be willing to learn - Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal - Ability to work as part of a team, under guidance - Knowledge of - as well as enthusiasm and passion for - the world of technology, software and web development is desirable. - Must be keen to learn new skills and technologies Full training will be provided but it is desirable if you have a basic knowledge/experience of: HTML and CCS; WordPress; JavaScript; And MS Office. Additional Information: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm You will receive advice, help and training from our developers and management team who will fully support you as you progress through your training course. You will gain practical experience of all stages of the software development life cycle - from requirements gathering through to testing and release management. This will provide you with a solid base on which to build your understanding of the theoretical side of software writing Important Information "QA's apprenticeship programmes may be funded in part by the European Union through the European Social Fund, which supports the development of employment opportunities and a skilled workforce."
