Your new role
In your new job, you will be a Category Manager supporting a range of indirect purchasing categories, including marketing, media and income generation among many others. Key to your role will be the ability to drive commercial initiative including procurement processes, contract negotiation and vendor management, and supporting the relevant senior business managers as needed. Your role is likely to run for approximately 6 months.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in your new job you will need to have extensive procurement experience particularly in indirect procurement, experience managing categories like Marketing, Advertising or HR is essential and vendor management. You will be part of a small team in a highly dynamic area of the business so the ability to adapt to changing circumstances is important. Further to that, keen negotiation and business partnering skills will be essential, in order to manage suppliers and senior internal stakeholders.
