Technical Infrastructure Project Manager Financial Services / Financial Technology Permanent Salary - £70K to £80K Central London, UK Working for a market defining financial solutions provider in the heart of London, this is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to join a fast-paced dynamic organisation with a multi-layered Infrastructure Work Stream Roll out. There are a number of upcoming exciting technical projects that will enhance and build on the current IT infrastructure. We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Project Manager to deliver the changes that we believe will play an instrumental role in achieving our strategic goals. The successful applicant will be responsible for driving a wide variety of functional change. Changes can vary in scope from minor, maintenance type changes through to full site rebuilds so there is always a varied and interesting workload. Main Responsibilities: - Work closely with the Head of Technology to identify, scope, design and present technical project mandates and initiation documents to the business. - Create and manage plans for moving technical projects to final business sign off. - Assemble and coordinate internal and external resource to gain consensus on deliverables from each project member. - Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential issues in budget and time expectations, where required devise contingency plans. - Delivery of complex change to scope, time and budget. - Facilitation and action follow up of kick-off sessions, requirements gathering, project and steering meetings. - Working closely with the Infrastructure, Business Analyst and internal / external development teams to define and deliver pragmatic solutions which meet the business and customer needs. - Own the communication and execution of solution handover to service delivery, technology and other staff members at designated milestones. Experience and knowledge: Essential: - Sound, technical understanding of network hardware, security appliances, and standard windows operating systems and applications. - Established track record in Project Management - Excellent stakeholder management - Experience of delivering complex, internal technical projects - Experience managing projects utilising a blend of internal resource and external consultants - Experience of formal Project Management methodologies - Ability to deliver in a fast-moving environment with changing priorities - Accurate project planning and estimation - Familiar with Jira and project planning tools Desirable: - PRINCE2/Agile Qualified - Previous experience in delivering any of the following: - - - Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity - - Environment rebuilds - - Cloud based Telephony solutions - - Technical Automation - - Exposure of services to third parties via API's If you feel you have the required skills and experience for this position then please apply with a most recent up to date version of your CV and we will be in contact to discuss.
