Quality and Compliance Coordinator

Our client deliver the Steps 2 Success Programme from offices in Bangor and Newtownards, serving the County Down and Ards Peninsula area, providing a range of employability support for jobseekers referred to them via the Jobs & Benefits offices / JobCentres. Their aim is to move jobseekers from benefit into sustained employment by delivering a range of support including employability coaching, vacancy matching, mentoring and in work support.

Position: Quality and Compliance Coordinator
Location: Bangor / Newtonards
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £25k per annum

Closing date: Monday 9th October 2017.

About the role:

They are now looking for an experienced Quality and Compliance Coordinator to join their team working across their sites Bangor and Newtonards. The purpose of the role is to help them monitor and satisfy their contractual requirements for their prime contractor (Ingues). This is a stand-alone role and you will take responsibility for Quality Assurance of their full Northern Ireland provision so it is a great opportunity to take on some real responsibility.


- Auditing the client journey from initial referral to programme exit or job outcome
- Undertake client tracking post-employment to ensure continued sustainment
- Support and develop other team members to ensure full compliance on Steps 2
- Success delivery Assisting in financial analysis to ensure targets are continuously achieved
- Taking responsibility for identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations for continuous quality improvement activity

About you:

- Maths and English at Level 2 (GCSE) or above
- Excellent IT skills and the ability to work with MI systems
- People management / supervision experience
- Knowledge and understanding of administrative systems and processes
- Confidence in providing training support to other staff members and presenting findings to Senior Management
- The ability to gather, process and deliver information on request (this could be in the form of reports, presentations or verbally)
- Great prioritisation skills and the ability to manage complex and numerous tasks at any given time
- The ability to study findings, scrutinize data and interpret information
- Driving Licence and access to own transport


- A detailed understanding of DfC Provider Guidance
- An awareness of and understanding of the documentation requirements across Steps 2
- Success Knowledge of Ingeus MI Systems and Informational MI tools

You may have experience of the following: Standards Compliance Coordinator, Compliance Coordinator, Regulation, Regulatory, ISO, Compliance Officer, Compliance Co-ordinator, Quality Assurance Consultant, Quality Assurance Manager, Test Manager, Software Quality Assurance, QA Consultant, QA Co-ordinator, Quality Control inspector, etc.
