A leading general insurance provider client of ours based in Cambridgeshire is seeking to onboard a Senior Risk & Compliance Manager to specialise in the remit of Policy and start on a contract basis at short notice for an initial 4-6 months. This will be paying up to £600pd. The successful candidate will provide advisory service across Policy, Measurement, Monitoring and Control to senior and board level stakeholders reporting directly to the CRO / CCO. Responsibilities of the role: - Identify and analyse regulatory risk and support by developing strategies to address them - Support a team by providing training, advice and support - Develop strategies for monitoring compliance trends using mechanisms via regulatory change delivers to the industry - Proactive incident management through effective root cause analysis - Enable the business to quantify risks - Robust and consistence advice Essential qualities of the candidate: - Extensive knowledge of the FSMA, FCA Handbook and other regulatory frameworks - Good General Insurance industry knowledge - Extensive experience offering compliance advice regarding regulatory change and emerging regulatory risk - Experienced in managing teams within similar functions - Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management to the board and externally - Professional Risk / Audit / Accounting or other relevant qualifications If you have the essential experience and are interested in finding out more please send your CV to Zara dot Koch at Maclean Moore dot com for a prompt to immediate response.
