The employer's technical team can assist with the installation and configuration of hardware and software, whether the customer requires software deployment, Mac server integration into a Windows environment or a storage and backup solution. With on-going IT support for a range of complex solutions they provide a team of technicians ready to solve technical issues. Key Responsibilities: - Use Mac OSX software and hardware, company will provide training on this - This role will also include repairing and troubleshooting issues with Apple tech and then finding a solution to repair the issue at hand. - Also dealing with customers over the phone who have any queries or questions, also working with multiple databases and making sure calls are logged correctly. - Help with Apple shipments if/when required - Initially diagnose units including but not limited to iPads, iPods, MacBook family, beats headphones, using multiple in-house systems - Creating repairs and ordering parts. - Diagnosing and repairing faulty Apple computers and iOS devices. - General day to day tasks that aid with the operation of the business. - Have a good basic knowledge or an interest in IT including operating systems and applications. - Help with Apple shipments if/when required - Initially diagnose units including but not limited to iPads, iPods, MacBook family, beats headphones, using multiple in-house systems. - Gain experience of Apple products. - Eventually lead to repairing Apple equipment using in house products also Apple service tools and systems. Required Skills: - Excellent IT skills - The ability to work individually and as part of a team - Someone who is willing to gain experience with apple products and try new things. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. - The ability to work under pressure Additional Information: - Monday - Friday, 9am - 5:30pm Important Information "QA's apprenticeship programmes may be funded in part by the European Union through the European Social Fund, which supports the development of employment opportunities and a skilled workforce."
