This is a great opportunity to join the Property Services Team of a national property management, development and regeneration company to drive forward our Asset Investment Strategy. We are looking to recruit a technically competent, forward-thinking and dynamic Asset Lifecycle Manager who possesses experience of property asset management and can evidence effective partnership working, team management and problem solving skills.

What your role will be

As the Asset Lifecycle Manager you will lead the development of our property asset register ensuring it is effectively configured with other IT systems within our Group and supports the development of our Asset Investment Strategy.

You will have operational responsibility for the effective management of our asset lifecycle approach to ensure we have a resilient end to end solution for managing the Group’s regulated property assets during acquisition, operational management and disposal. This includes being accountable for over 50,000 property assets and ensuring that appropriate change control and data quality approaches are in place.

You will ensure that we have effective systems in place to collate and archive property compliance and servicing records and you will be responsible for data analysis, provision of operational and performance reporting to Group Boards and automation of KPI’s to ensure that we have effective governance of our statutory property compliance and contractor servicing obligations.

As a positive and influential Team leader you will effectively engage and develop a team of skilled, specialist staff to continuously improve our current approaches. You will also influence internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective partnership working is in place.

Your background

You will have significant experience of implementing and managing asset data systems as well as excellent data analysis skills with the ability to identify data quality issues and implement effective quality solutions. Knowledge and experience of property compliance requirements, associated IT systems and quality management systems, preferably within the ISO family or other recognised standard, would be highly beneficial.

Excellent communications skills both written and verbal are essential as is a proven track record of working effectively at a management level. You will be able to demonstrate proven negotiation skills and a capability of setting expectations and influencing colleagues, external organisations and decision makers. You will also be able to evidence leadership skills and your experience of engaging, developing and managing high performing teams. Ideally you will hold a Higher National Certificate / Diploma level qualification in a related discipline with working knowledge of PRINCE 2 or similar project management methodologies.

The Strategy and Compliance Team forms part of our Property Services Directorate and is responsible for delivering the Group's Asset Investment Strategy as well as providing effective investment planning, contract management, compliance and performance monitoring services relating to the English Regulated housing stock. We are working to provide aspirational homes and inspirational places.
